CAPE CORAL, Fla. --- Cape Coral Police responded to a domestic dispute at the 4800 block of Manor Court in Cape Coral on Thursday.

Neighbors say they saw a man smash his pickup truck into a small red car his partner was sitting in.

“Her head was bashed on the windshield, she was almost jumping out of the windshield," said Thomas Moriro, a neighbor who saw the crash.

Moriro was the one who put in the 911 call. He says the couple had been arguing all day prior to the crash. Moriro and other neighbors say the crash was intentional.

“He was trying to kill her," said one neighbor, who wanted to remain anonymous.

Other neighbors like Elizabeth Pates says the man was close to hitting her as he flew by in the truck.

"Inches... within in inches of backing into us," explained Pates.

But it's the kids, Moriro says, he was the most worried about.

“Just yesterday, all the kids were playing out there in the front and I had my son here playing with his toys...that could’ve happened yesterday.”

Cape Coral Police confirm the car crash was a domestic incident, but no charges have been filed at this time. Fox 4 will keep you posted with all the latest details both on-air and online.
