CAPE CORAL, Fla. -- Police say a shooting that left on person injured looks like an accident.
It happened around 11:21 p.m. Saturday near Southeast 36th Street and Country Club Boulevard.
According to Cape Coral Police, someone in the back seat of a vehicle was unloading a handgun when it unintentionally discharged. The round hit the torso on a person in the front seat then entered the person's leg.
He was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Officers say the shooting is still under investigation.
