Cape Coral to build seven new neighborhood parks wants public input

CAPE CORAL, Fla. -- The City of Cape Coral wants your input. They will be holding meetings for new neighborhood parks.

The locations of the new parks are on your screen.

There will be seven new neighborhood parks:

Crystal Lake Park
Cultural Park
Gator Circle Park
Lake Meade Park
Oasis Woods Park
Sands Park
Tropicana Park

Plus three community parks, Yellow Fever Creek Environmental Park, and improvements to 19 existing parks.

The neighborhood parks listed are only Phase One.

The public input meetings are set for the following dates/times:

September 17 Oasis Middle School (cafeteria) 6-8 PM
September 18 Diplomat Elementary (cafeteria) 6-8 PM
September 19 Christa McAuliffe Elementary (cafeteria) 6-8 PM

If you can't attend any meetings, there is a form you can fill out, to give your thoughts.

All projects are expected to be finished by 2022.
