FORT MYERS, Fla. – Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a crash between a car and a light pole early Monday morning.
It happened around 3:45 a.m. on Michael G. Rippe Parkway north of Alico Road.
When the Fox 4 Breaking News Tracker got to the scene, our crew saw several deputies on scene, as well as firefighters and paramedics.
Deputies at the scene would not say if there were any injuries, but our crew did see paramedics leave the scene with their lights off.
FHP says they are taking over the case investigation. We'll let you know when there's an update on what happened.
