CAPE CORAL, Fla. -- A homeowner is left to the pick up the pieces once more after a car plowed straight into the place again.
The driver was rushed to the hospital overnight after their vehicle slammed into the home on El Dorado Parkway at the south end of Skyline Boulevard. Neighbors say the owner has the home up for rent, and they say this is at least the fifth time that a car has hit this place.
They say the owner had just repaired previous damage.
Neighbors now say the city should consider installing some sort of barrier at this intersection to prevent cars from crashing into this home in the future.
There’s still no word on what led up the crash or how the driver is doing.
