FORT MYERS, Fla. -- Extra patrols are in place in a part of Fort Myers Tuesday, where parents say they've seen drivers not stopping for school buses as they pick up students.  Something Fox 4 witnessed in person Tuesday morning.

Four in Your Corner was at a bus stop along Metro Parkway at the Westwood and Westchase apartment complexes.

That’s where two Fort Myers Police patrol cars were there to make sure drivers are obeying the rules when school buses stop to pick up students.

Fox 4’s camera even caught video of a car speeding past a stopped school bus during a live report.  An officer can be seen in the background pulling the car over.

This car appears to be the same car seen in video sent to Fox 4 Monday by parents at the same intersection.
