CAPE CORAL, Fla. -- An operation held last week in Cape Coral by the Department of Agriculture and the Cape Coral Police Department discovered one skimmer at a gas station pump.
According to Cape Police, 37 stations were checked for skimming devices, and one was located and removed.
Police report that no numbers were compromised before the device was found.
According to the Department of Agriculture, the skimmer wsa found at De Bono's Stop and Go on Santa Barbara Boulevard, just north of Cape Coral High School, on Wednesday, October 25th.
The device was submitted for processing and the investigation is ongoing.
