COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. — A puppy stolen from its owners is back home safe.
Authorities say the 3-month-old Labrador pup went missing on Sunday in Everglades City.
A gas station attendant tipped off the owners that two men were seen with Ebony.
One suspect is a minor, so we will name or show his picture.
The other suspect, Johnny Moreno, sold the dog to a family for one hundred and fifty dollars, according to deputies.
The new owners were suspicious, so they searched until they found the original owners on social media and gave her back.
More told deputies he thought the puppy was a stray.
Both suspects were arrested and charged with grand theft.
