IMMOKALEE, Fla. -- A Fort Myers man was arrested Monday after reportedly damaging a slot machine with his fist.
It happened at the Seminole Immokalee Casino on Monday night.
According to a Collier County Sheriff's Office report, casino security alerted a deputy that a customer had punched a slot machine called 'Quick Hit'. The deputy located the machine, which had substantial damage to the front glass. There were glass shards on the floor and the machine was no longer functional.
62-year-old Richard Stewart was identified as a suspect, and the casino decided to press charges after neither Stewart nor his girlfriend were able to pay for the damage.
Stewart was booked into the Immokalee Jail Center on a Criminal Mischief charge.
