CAPE CORAL, Fla. -- A small but beloved Christmas display paying tribute to a holiday classic has returned to a Cape Coral field.
Drivers on Burnt Store Road in NW Cape Coral can catch sight of a local man's Charlie Brown Christmas display.
The display currently features wooden cutouts of Charlie Brown and Snoopy next to a scraggly pine tree with ornaments.
It's located in a vacant lot at the corner of Burnt Store Road and NW 9th Street.
It's unknown who puts the display up every year. Two years ago, Fox 4 spoke with the owner of the property, Friendly Frankie, who says it's not him. However, he is just glad the display is giving people meaning this season. "As far as I'm concerned, they can do it every year if they want."
