CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. — The Charlotte County Animal Control is seeking information regarding a deceased dog found today on Chippewa St (area of Gisinger Blvd) in Gulf Cove.
A veterinary examination concluded that the dog was a female shepherd mix.
She was about nine months old and had likely been deceased 2-3 days.
She was found with a makeshift harness tied to her and may have been dragged by a vehicle.
