CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. --- The Charlotte County Sheriff's Office are searching for a man who they believe to be armed and dangerous.
Salvatore Lacerenza, 33, is facing charges for Armed Burglary with Battery, Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Domestic Battery by Strangulation, False Imprisonment and Felony Criminal Mischief.
According to investigators the charges stem from a domestic violence incident that happened on the 4000 block of Gallo Street in Port Charlotte.
Deputies believe that Lacerenza is armed with a small black semi-automatic handgun which is the firearm used in the incident in question. The suspect fled the Gallo Street address in his black Dodge pickup, bearing a Florida tag number of "GAJC09."
