Charlotte County Sheriffs to hold active shooter training on June 11

CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. — The Charlotte County Sheriff's Office will hold a presentation on active shooter preparedness on Tuesday, June 11th at the Charlotte Technical College.

You will learn how to respond to threats and active violence from experienced law enforcement. Some of the topics include mental mindset, situational awareness, objectives of the active shooter, contact with law enforcement and run, hide and fight.

The training is from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. and you can RSVP on Eventbrite or email them at Communityaffairs@ccsofl.net.
