The City of Cape Coral will discuss their agreement with the law firm who is representing them in the Chiquita Lock lawsuit on Monday. During the City Council meeting, the law firm will present an engagement letter which details the terms of services regarding the removal of the Chiquita Lock.
In the letter, the law firms says they will hire an outside firm to conduct ecological studies and help them submit a new permit application for the removal of the lock. The firms says it will cost $50,000 for their services and and additional $50,000 for the ecological studies.
