LEE COUNTY, Fla. -- The U.S Coast Guard says they're actively looking for a 47-year-old woman near Captiva Island after going missing Thursday evening.
The woman’s personal items were discovered around 6:30 p.m. about a half mile south of Redfish Pass, which is between Captiva Island and North Captiva Island.
The search was previously called off, but the coast guard tells Fox 4 that the Lee County Sheriff's Office re-activated it Friday morning.
