COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. — In observance of the Holiday Season, the schedule for some Collier County services will be adjusted.
Collier County administrative offices will be closed on Thursday, December 24, Friday, December 25, and Friday January 1.
The following list of services reflects additional scheduling adjustments related to the holiday.
Solid Waste
Garbage, recycling and yard waste will not be collected on Christmas Day. There is no make-up day. Solid waste collection service will resume on the next regularly scheduled collection day. The Collier County Landfill and Immokalee transfer station will be closed on December 25.
Garbage, recycling and yard waste will be collected on New Year’s Day. The Collier County Landfill and Immokalee transfer station will be open on January 1.
Recycling drop-off centers will be closed on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. For additional information about recycling during the holidays, call (239) 252-7575 or visit www.colliercountyfl.gov/holidayrecycling.
Utility Billing and Customer Service
Utility Billing and Customer Service will be closed on December 25. The customer service call center, (239) 252-2380, will be open on December 24 and January 1 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. for calls related to solid waste collection.
Collier Area Transit (CAT) Collier Area Transit will not operate services on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.
