Collier County man charged with aggravated assault after pointing gun at victims head

COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. — The Collier County Sheriff’s arrested a man after a standoff in North Naples.

According to a Sheriff’s report Mario Anzualda Perez, 35, had battered a woman inside a residence he refused to leave.

A victim said Perez put a gun to her head and threatened to kill her and tried tying a belt around her neck trying to choke her.

When deputies arrived, Perez was inside and refused to comply with orders.

Collier County Sheriffs say Perez has a history of violence, resisting arrest, fleeing and eluding law enforcement and possession of a firearm.

Perez was charged with Aggravated Battery with Great Bodily Harm, Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, and Battery.
