COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. — Collier County Sheriffs arrested a man for storing child pornography on his phone.
Collier Sheriffs say Luis Fernando Garcia-Perez, 21, was engaged in discussion with other child predators online and trading files with them.
Garcia Perez charged with 100 counts of Possession of Child Pornography and one count of Possession of Child Pornography with intent to promote.
Following his arrest, a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement detainer was placed on Garcia-Perez through ICE’s program.
ICE lodges detainers on individuals arrested on criminal charges who ICE has probable cause to believe are removable aliens.
