EVERGLADES CITY, Fla -- Collier County officials have given an estimate of just how much damage Hurricane Irma caused.
Collier County Commissioners say Irma caused more than $317 million in damages in unincorporated areas. They also say more than 70 buildings were destroyed.
They say these numbers do not include the damage in Everglades City.
The commissioners approved an inter-local agreement with the city so the county can offer assistance, manpower, and funding to help Everglades City recover.
