COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. — Collier County Deputies have been investigating a homicide. Deputies were called to a condominium on Sandpiper Street in Royal Harbor at 8:43 am.
Several neighbors say they heard a woman screaming just before 9 am this morning.
The Sheriff’s Office confirms they’re investigating a homicide, and the victims are a forty five year old man and five year old boy.
Due to Marsy’s law, the identity of the victims is protected.
“It’s very sad. You see this on tv a lot. But when it’s in other places, it doesn’t hit home as much, but when it’s this close, you feel really bad. I’m very sorry for the little boy, especially.” Gabriel Marabella, neighbor.
Collier County Sheriffs say an investigation is still ongoing.
