There will be no trash, recycling or yard waste collection in Collier County areas served by Waste Management on Thanksgiving.
This includes Marco Island and Everglades City, and parts of Immokalee served by Progressive Waste Solutions. Waste collection service will resume on your next regularly scheduled collection day.
All Collier County recycling drop-off centers will be also closed Thursday, Nov. 23 and Friday, Nov. 24 and the Collier County Landfill and Immokalee Transfer Station will be closed Thursday, Nov. 23.
Hurricane debris drop-off sites will close at noon Wednesday, Nov. 22 and will be closed until Monday, Nov. 27 with the exception of the Carnestown Recycling Drop-off Center. The Carnestown facility will resume its regular operating schedule (open the 2nd Saturday of each month 9 a.m.- noon, and 12:30 to 3:30 p.m.) following the holiday.
