GOLDEN GATE, Fla. -- Deputies assisted in collecting seven tons of trash in Golden Gate over the weekend as part of the annual winter cleanup.
The Collier County Sheriff’s Office, in partnership with the Golden Gate Task Force, teamed up with residents to clean up the community Saturday.
They say residents dropped off enough yard waste, construction debris, tires, regular trash, household hazardous waste, and other items to fill six dumpsters that were set up at the corner of 44th Street Southwest and Golden Gate Parkway.
They offer thanks to everyone who helped to make this event a success.
