CAPE CORAL, Fla. — The search is intensifying to find a missing cape coral woman.

29-year-old Lauren Dumolo was last seen on June 19th.

The Southwest Florida Community came together at Four Freedoms Park looking for answers.

Fox 4 spoke to volunteers during the search efforts.

“ Her daughter was born a day before my son, and I couldn’t imagine him loosing his mom so I just felt a connection with her, ” said Danielle Langevian.

Southwest Florida Helping Hands coordinated the search efforts, dividing people to search several surrounding locations where Dumolo was last seen.

“Its been two weeks, people are forgetting already and we want to keep her picture in their face, ” said Rena Anders.

They knocked on doors, posted flyers, and searched for any clues to bring Lauren home.

“The way that cases like this are going to be resolved is because people talk and the more we find out, ” said Danielle Langevian.

Police say she was last seen at her Cape Coral her apartment where they also found her phone.

Her purse was then found at Four Freedoms Park.

The community is now desperate for answers.

“Something will trigger a memory, even it’s small that little piece of information is just part of the puzzle,” said Langevian.

Last week the family found a shirt at Four Freedoms Park they believe belonged to Lauren.

“If this was my daughter, I would want someone to help,”

Dumolo’s sister says she is thankful to see the outpour of community support.

“People from the community are coming out and reaching out and donating their time and I’m just so grateful for it, ” said Casie Carey.

If you happen to know anything about the disappearance of Lauren Dumolo you are urged to call the Cape Coral Police Department at (239) 574-3223.
