A driver traveling from the Fort Rock Concert in Fort Myers was arrested for traveling the wrong way on I-75 early Sunday morning.
A trooper was traveling north on the inside northbound lane of I-75 near mm 148 when he saw a pair of headlights approaching him, Florida Highway Patrol said.
The trooper steered to the center lane to avoid the wrong way driver.
Troopers say Oscar Castillo, 30, was coming from the Fort Rock Concert in Fort Myers to his residence in Cape Coral. He was taken to the Lee County Jail for driving under the influence, possession of cocaine and smuggling contraband into a detention facility. He was later released on an $11,000 bond.
