CAPE CORAL, Fla. — A confirmed 6th tornado hit Cape Coral on January 16 at 9:04 a.m.
The EF-0 tornado did some damage between Trafalgar Parkway and Pine Island Road.
It was moving east/northeast and caused damage that extended two blocks north.
This comes as an alert from the Iowa Environmental Mesonet of Iowa State University. Residents of Southwest Florida are still recovering from the tornadoes that hit the area and destroyed many people's homes.
