Congressman Francis Rooney will host two town hall meetings Thursday in Southwest Florida.
The first one will take place at Wesley United Methodist Church on South Barfield Drive in Marco Island.
It starts at 3 p.m. Thursday afternoon.
The group, Freedom Collier, is planning to show up around 2:30 p.m. to protest the town hall at the church by holding an anti-gun violence vigil.
The second town hall is at the Lee County Public Education Center on Colonial Boulevard. It'll be held in the Caloosahatchee room from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Thursday night.
Both events will be streamed live on the congressman's Facebook page if community members cannot attend.
