Controversial downtown Naples parking garage vote

Posted

NAPLES, Fla.-- On Tuesday Naples is expected to make a decision on the controversial parking garage proposed for downtown.

The city is thinking about spending $15 million to build a third garage, which would add about 350 parking spaces.

It would sit at the corner of 4th Avenue South and 4th Street South.

Some people are against the project, claiming another garage would cause traffic problems and hurt the area's character.
