CAPE CORAL, Fla. --- The intersection of Coronado Parkway and SE 47th Terrace will be closed starting Monday.
The City of Cape Coral's construction manager, Chris-Tel Construction will be performing utility work as part of the SE 47 Terrace Streetscape Project in South Cape.
Southbound lanes of Coronado Parkway from SE 47th Street to Cape Coral Parkway will be closed for two weeks or until the work has been completed.
Drivers traveling southbound on Coronado Parkway will be detoured around the work zone using SE 47th Street.
Eastbound traffic on SE 47th Terrace will be allowed to drive through the intersection at SE 47th Terrace and Coronado Parkway.
Detour signs will be used to assist drivers traveling through the detour.
The SE 47th Terrace Streetscape Project is designed to improve construction, water and sewage on the roadway from Coronado Parkway to SE 15th Avenue.
The road work will start 5:30 a.m. Monday, February 5th.
