FORT MYERS, Fla. — Courtney Gainey was in court today.
Gainey is the woman accused of killing a 14 year old North Fort Myers girl in a hit and run incident.

The victim’s mother Christine Gray was also in court.
Gray called on community leaders last month to make the roads safer in the area.
Gainey entered a not guilty plea. She now has a public defender.
Her next court appearance will be April 1st.
