PUNTA GORDA, Fla. – An overturned truck was causing northbound traffic issues along Interstate 75 Thursday morning.
The crash involved what looks like a dump truck and a minivan near mile marker 161, just north of the Jones Loop Road exit.
The crash happened Around 5 a.m.
The Fox 4 Breaking News Tracker on the scene says the jaws of life were used to save someone trapped inside the van.
All northbound lanes were blocked at the scene as crews removed the vehicles from the scene, but all lanes have since reopened.
We're still awaiting word on what caused the crash and the extent of the injuries.
