PUNTA GORDA, Fla. -- Northbound traffic on Interstate 75 was backed up approaching the Tuckers Grade exit early Thursday morning due to a serious crash.
It happened around 4:20 a.m. near mile marker 158 in Punta Gorda.
As of 6:15 a.m., two northbound lanes remained blocked just before the Tuckers Grade exit.
Northbound drivers may want to exit at Bayshore Road in North Fort Myers and take U.S. 41 north to bypass the backup.
