CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. — Charlotte County Fire and EMS responded to a fire that burned down two acres in Tippecanoe Environmental Park Saturday night.

Fire officials say the fire flared up again Sunday just before 6 p.m. in the same area.

Firefighters say the area is difficult to access, and Florida Forestry is working to contain the fire.

At this time, there is no confirmation on what caused the fire.
