GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The Florida Gators have hired Dan Mullen to be their next football head coach.
Mullen was the team's offensive coordinator from 2005 to 2008, and helped turn Tim Tebow into a star.
He’s spent the last 9 years as the head coach at Mississippi State.
While there, he helped turn around a program not known for winning into a strong SEC team, going 69 and 46 in his 9 years leading the program.
He also took them to 7 bowl games, winning 5 of them.
