FORT MYERS, Fla. -- We're learning more about a death reported at a Fort Myers landscaping company on Wednesday.
The Lee County Sheriff's Office has identified the person who died as 57-year-old Juan Mendez.
Investigators say Mendez died as result of a workplace accident while repairing a forklift, and was pronounced dead at the scene.
It happened Wednesday afternoon at Batista Farms on S. Tamiami Trail in Fort Myers.
OSHA is conducting an investigation.
