Cape Coral Police have released the name of the deceased who was found on Tudor Drive.
The woman is Kristine Ann Melton, 35.
Cape Police say this is still an active investigation and there is no threat to the community.
She has been identified as a waitress at Duffy's Sports Grill in Cape Coral.

Fox 4 is working to learn more details about a scene at a Cape Coral home with a heavy police presence.
One of our sources has confirmed police found a woman dead inside this home on the 48-hundred block of Tudor Drive.
Cape Coral Police has a perimeter blocked off with crime scene tape with one officer present. The police are not telling us if this was a murder or a natural death situation.
Under the mailbox is a stuffed animal and a bouquet of flowers, but we don't know if they are related to this incident.
Cape Coral Police will only tell us this is an active investigation, and detectives are still gathering information on what happened.
