NAPLES, Fla. -- Deputies have confirmed that a death investigation at a Collier County gun range Monday has been ruled a suicide.

It happened at the Alamo Gun Range on Vanderbilt Beach Road.

According to a Collier County Sheriff's Office report, the 28-year-old victim entered the business around 4:30 p.m. Monday and rented a firearm. He was assigned a range, and about an hour later, employees found the man bleeding on the floor due to a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Life saving measures were taken until medics arrived. The man was pronounced dead at NCH North Naples Hospital.
