LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. -- Lee County deputies are investigating a bank robbery in Lehigh Acres on Wednesday afternoon.
It happened at the Wells Fargo branch on Homestead Road North around 2:44 p.m. Wednesday.
According to Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers, a white or light-skinned Hispanic man held a gun in plain sight and demanded cash from the teller. The man left with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Anyone with information on the identity and whereabouts of the suspect is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-TIPS (8477). All callers will remain anonymous and will be eligible for a cash reward of up to $3,000.
