SAN CARLOS PARK, Fla. -- Lee County deputies are looking for a man they say ran off when they tried to pull him over.
The search started early Wednesday morning, around 12:30 am, after deputies say the man ran a stop sign near Lee Road and Cypress Drive North.
When they pulled him over, deputies say the man didn't have a license, got out of the Jeep, then ran.
At one point, people living nearby saw a helicopter flying overhead.
Deputies do have the Jeep in their possession, but have no description of the man.
