Fire Investigators say someone intentionally set fire to a travel trailer on Bayshore Road in North Fort Myers. They say they are now investigating the fire as suspicious.
The trailer burst into flames early Wednesday morning near the Love's truck stop just off Interstate 75. It has been extensively damaged. Just moments before the fire, witnesses tell us there was a crash right down the street.
Utility workers tell Fox 4 that a car was trying to pass traffic and drove right into the back of a utility truck. That's when witnesses tell us the driver got out of the truck and ran way, but he was arrested by deputies.
Fire Investigators have not released any further information at this time.
