COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. --- A Collier County Deputy arrested for child abuse on Sunday.
The Collier County Sheriff's Office say they responded to the home of Deputy Derek Holden Sunday, when they received a phone call about a domestic dispute.
When Deputies arrived to the home, Holden had a strong odor of alcoholic beverage and admitted to officers that he had too many drinks that night.
Investigators spoke with the woman who reportedly made the emergency call. The woman telling them that Holden shoved a child during the dispute.
According to Deputies, the minor pulled out a cell phone to record the argument. That's when Holden walked over and tried taking the cell phone.
Once Holden was not able to take the cell phone, he shoved the minor in the chest/shoulder area. In return, the minor pushed him back.
The minor did not sustain any injuries during the incident.
Holden is charged with child abuse without great bodily harm.
