The Lee County Sheriff's Office is investigating a death in Fort Myers.
Deputies were called to the 8600 block of Cypress Lake Drive at 8:18 pm. Monday night.
Major Crimes Unit Detectives were also called out and are now overseeing the investigation.
The Sheriff's Office says the investigation is still active.
UPDATE (10/3) -- The victim has been identified as 55-year-old Kipper Cobb. His death is not considered suspicious and there is no danger to the public.
