PUNTA GORDA, Fla. — The Punta Gorda Police Department (PGPD) said someone shot and killed another person at the Seven Palms Apartment Complex on Saturday night.
A report posted by the PGPD states that detectives went to complete a welfare check on a person in a car and found a body inside with a gunshot wound.
PGPD says this appears to be an isolated incident and there is no threat to the public.
This is an ongoing investigation.
