COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. -- Deputies have arrested an employee at a doughnut shop after they say he used a sledge hammer to bust open the manager's door and steal cash.

18-year-old Jose Luis Mesa-Velasco is charged with Burglary and Grand Theft.

According to the Collier County Sheriff's Office, Mesa-Velasco is an employee at the Dunkin' Donuts on Livingston Road at Pine RIdge Road in Naples.

Store surveillance video shows Mesa-Velasco and another suspect returning to the store after it closed Sunday night and breaking into the manager's office with a sledge hammer. He then removed a safe and the men opened it to remove the cash. The pair left around 1 a.m.

Deputies say the men returned to the area around 9:30 a.m., where Mesa was detained but the other suspect was able to drive away.
