LEHIGH ACRES-- A driver has been cited for careless driving after troopers said he ran into a school bus as it was taking children home.
It happened around 4:30 p.m. Wednesday in Lehigh Acres, at Lee Boulevard and Sunshine Boulevard.
Troopers say a pickup truck swerved to avoid a slower car in front of it, hit a curb, then hit the school bus in the rear passenger's side.
33 children were on board-- there were only minor injuries, and ambulances on scene did not take anyone to the hospital.
