Drugs found in Port Charlotte home, two men arrested

PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. — The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office arrested two men after finding drugs and drug paraphernalia at home in Port Charlotte.

While searching the home, detectives discovered 0.1 grams of Fentanyl in a plastic bag inside of a black safe, a black digital scale in a black safe, 3.1 grams of Methamphetamine, 18.6 grams of Cannabis, six smoking pipes, an unidentified partial pill inside in baggie inside of a black safe and two clear plastic baggies with Methamphetamine residue.

William Clayton Denney, 58, is being charged with a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine), Possession of a Controlled Substance (Fentanyl), Possession of Cannabis less than 20g, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Marshal Joseph Eskew, 43, is being charged with, Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine), Possession of Cannabis less than 20g, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
