CAPE CORAL, Fla. -- A Cape Coral man was rushed to the hospital Sunday afternoon after rolling his pickup truck over on Skyline Boulevard.
According to Cape Coral Police, 32-year-old Sean Farley was driving south on Skyline near SW 18th Street around 3:40pm Sunday when his pickup truck drifted into a left turn lane, causing Farley to swerve back into the travel lane, where the truck slid into the median and hit a tree.
That caused the truck to continue to slide on the median before rotating and overturning. Farley was ejected through the truck's windows and landed partially on the sidewalk.
He was trauma alerted to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
It was later determined that his Blood Alcohol Content was .244, over triple the legal driving limit.
The Major Crash Investigator is still investigating the incident.
