LEE COUNTY, Fla. -- At least one family is looking for a new place to live after a fire tore through their home.
The Bonita Springs Fire Department tells me no one was home when the fire started but that the people who live here won't be coming home anytime soon.
He says the fire is still under investigation and that the state fire marshal will take over when they arrive.
He says when they got there, there were visible flames but that firefighters quickly put them out.
The battalion chief tells Fox 4 that one cat did die in the fire, but there were no other injuries.
The battalion chief did not say how many people are looking for a new place to stay but did add the Red Cross is helping them with whatever they need.
