LEE COUNTY, Fla. -- The Florida Everblades are celebrating their 20th anniversary, but for their opening games, they’re not putting the focus on them.
The team will have a two game home series against the Atlanta Gladiators Friday and Saturday night, with the games starting at 7:30 Friday and 7:00 Saturday.
While the team is celebrating their 20th anniversary by honoring past greats before the game, they are also honoring first responders who helped out the community during Hurricane Irma.
The team also says that one dollar from every ticket sold to both games will go to help the Naples Zoo recover from damage they suffered in the hurricane.
