The Florida Highway Patrol responded to a fatal crash involving a 60-year-old motorcyclist on Estero Boulevard near Lovers Key State Park Sunday afternoon.
Troopers say the motorcyclist was traveling south on Estero Boulevard at Lovers Key State Park when he lost control.
The car struck a wooden fence, causing the driver to be thrown from the motorcycle.
Troopers say the motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
