The Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU) Eagles are getting ready to fly tonight in their first round game in the NCAA tournament.

The 14-seeded FGCU men's basketball team is playing against 3rd ranked Florida State University (FSU) tonight in the first round.

March madness mania gripping Orlando right now and it's gripping fans who are excited to see Coach Dooley and his players try and upset FSU later tonight.

The FGCU Eagles flocking to the floor for a final practice before they square off against FSU.

Christian Terrell, Guard says "we are very excited to play them, they are right down the street from us and we just are really excited be in the tournament, it's going to be a great game”

The FGCU Eagles have some big-time games under their belt this season

Christian Carlyle, Shooting Guard says "we played big time teams like Baylor, Michigan State, and Florida this year, so it's just another game for us." But the Seminoles aren't just another game FSU does pose a match-up problem.

Zach Johnson, Guard says "they are a pretty big team and it is hard to emulate that in practice, you just gotta make sure you are prepared the right way.”

Coach Dooley making sure his team is in the right mindset and trying to make the most out of back to back NCAA Tournament appearances.

Joe Dooley, Coach says "familiarity breeds confidence and our guys that have been in the NCAA Tournament games, it’s exciting for them but now it’s not a novelty. It’s an opportunity to do something they did last year and it helped us with momentum for this year."

The game tonight is set for 9;20pm.
